other sites call them users. we call them people. we further define people into two groups: people that need help ("people") and people representing organizations offering help ("ministries").

the following applies to all people using this site

it's the internet, people. cookies. saving your favorites. location awareness. they improve your experience. you are walking around with a phone capable of tracking you. you can decline any of these when they are offered (we don't do stuff like that without telling you first). accept and your experience will be better, and we will only use your information for that purpose. we have no plans to email you regular updates or anything like that - you will have to find that on social media. we intend to enable alerts at some point, and then we will be emailing you because you want us to.

ministry people

you must represent non-commercial organizations, including but not limited to: religious organizations, non-profits, and government agencies. we will be checking your status.

we will be collecting information needed to display your ministries. we will also be collecting information about your organization. we will be clear about what is public and what is not. this is called free marketing and is encouraged.

your organization must provide service without bias to those it serves in its scope. we understand some pantries only serve their zip code, some shelters only serve a certain gender, etc., that is serving a specific market and is permitted. "pick and choose" ministries are not permitted.

you will have to be registered to list your ministry. we have made it as simple as possible, the way i would want to do it for my church.

people needing help

you do not need to register to use the site.

it is free. if someone tries to sell you something or force you to participate in a service, seance, or other unexpected activity, please let us know.

we are going to provide ministries with services that will allow us to pass your personal information onto them so they can provide you services more quickly and efficiently. we do not have these things turned on yet, but in order to use them, you will need to register.
